From Steven Charleston

From Steven Charleston today.
May we all expand and grow as we age… this is our time.

“I guess I didn’t get the memo, the one that defines how we are supposed to act when we get older. I am not dismayed by how this world has changed because it is always changing. I am not left longing for how things were in my time because this is my time. I have not grown entrenched in my opinions but broadened my horizons to be more open than ever before. I do not believe I am on the sidelines, but in the vanguard, because elders are always closer to the future. And I do not feel alone because I walk proudly beside so many others of my generation who don’t seem to have gotten the memo either, or, if they did, just tossed it in the place where it belongs.”
