Welcome
UMC of Rancho Cordova is a place where people can meet Jesus, engage in life-giving
fellowship, and vital service to the community of Rancho Cordova. We believe in creating a space where people can have authentic encounters with God, discover their gifts and use
them for God's glory.
Join us for our Sunday services at 10 AM.

What to Expect
If you are new to church in general or if you are joining us for the first time, here is what you can expect:
1. Our parking lot is large and is located off of
Hirschfeld Drive. There is plenty of space in our lot!
2. Our sanctuary is physically small, even though we have a huge, loving spirit! So come a few minutes early to find a seat that suits you. We are not as wheelchair accessible as we would like to be. If you are in a chair and can transfer to a pew, you will be most comfortable. If you use a chair, a walker, a cane, or another mobility device, our ushers will be happy to assist you!
3. Attire is fairly casual. Nobody's trying to win a fashion contest here. We're just glad you got up this morning to join us. Most of us come to church in comfortable clothes.
4. Our worship service is usually under an hour long. The Order of Worship is printed on a paper program and is projected on the screen. You won't find it difficult to follow what we're doing.
5. Our music is a mix of traditional and contemporary. It is led by a song leader. If singing isn't your thing, we totally get it, we don't make anybody sing who is notfeeling moved to do so!
6. Childcare is available. We appreciate advance notice if you are bringing MANY children, so that we can increase our staffing! Just let an usher know when you arrive that you need childcare. We will show you the way !
** Our congregation has a Safe Sanctuaries policy to ensure the safety of your children.
7. Giving. We do pass an offering plate in the worship service. Nobody expects first timers to make an offering and we have no requirements about financial giving. However, we do acknowledge that it takes money to run a church and we are thankful for whatever you are willing to share!
8. After church we share a light snack and fellowship in Adams Hall. Please join us. The food's good and the fellowship is even better!
9. If you get here and wonder where all the families are, our family ministry is on the 2nd Friday evening of each month at 5:30 PM. It is a multi-generational experience, and includes crafts, storytelling, a short time of prayer & singing, and dinner. Please join us sometime. It's loads of fun!
10. YOU are welcome here! Please see our Reconciling Statement below!
